Gateware Software and Systems is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We specialize in the design of custom software and network services for small to medium sized businesses worldwide.
Adam Serbinski is the owner and sole proprietor of Gateware Software and Systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering awarded by Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario. His graduate research specialization involved the development and advancement of web protocols to overcome performance limitations.
The products developed by Gateware Software and Systems are designed with the objective of being cross-platform compatible, both for the server and for the clients. We do this because the majority of software readily available now is restricted to a single operating platform. When a person or an organization becomes dependent on a piece of software, it locks them into the platform for which that software is designed and can make it nearly impossible to change platforms. Our systems and software will not lock you into a specific platform and will allow you to change platforms at will. This makes our software perfect for anyone who might eventually need to change platforms and makes it ideal for those who are currently migrating.
What is the W3C icon at the bottom of the page?
Some web browsers implement proprietary extensions that don't meet the applicable language specifications. Because of this, there are many web authors who design their websites to use these proprietary features. We don't believe in the use of proprietary features on the web because web pages designed with these features may not view correctly in other browsers. The purpose of the web is to facilitate global communications, but the inclusion of proprietary features in a web browser are intended to exploit the people who use the web by creating incompatibilities between web sites and other web browsers that may view the site. In order to promote harmony and compatibility, all of our web pages comply strictly with the specifications of HTML 4.01.The W3C icon is a link to a web page validator that proves compliance with specifications.
